First off, what’s “QED” ? QED is an acronym for the Latin phrase “quod erat demonstrandum” traditionally used to conclude a formal proof in mathematics, logic and philosophy. “quod erat demonstrandum” literally means “what was to be shown” and hence is used with the meaning “thus it has been demonstrated”. For more information about QED, “quod erat demonstratum”, you can read Wikipedia’s article on Q.E.D.
While I could go on and on about my affinity for Mathematics, Logic and formal proofs, I have to admit that the QED in the call letters for the local public broadcasting station always sounded cool to me. PBS content is usually accurate, informative and interesting, qualities I hope this website also attains. Besides, naming it “Piece of cake!” or “Bob’s your uncle” just wouldn’t work.
This site is an extensive collection of articles about WordPress and doing stuff with it. What you might think of as the cookbook that your Mom kept in her kitchen because it had recipes for virtually everything she would ever want to cook. Maybe if this website ever made it into book form, I would call it the “Joy Of WordPress.”
